For my 58th Birthday, Inna treated me to a delicious dinner at Dalida Mediterranean in San Francisco's Presidio. She made a reservation for 19:30 (the earliest available for Sunday, October 11).
We tried calling Dalida to see if we could dine earlier, but couldn't reach anyone. When we arrived about 40 minutes early, they told us we couldn't be seated earlier.
Since it was getting dark, we decided to park near the restaurant (instead of walking there from Crissy Field), a wise decision, as there was plenty of parking nearby.
After finally being seated at 19:30, we looked at the menu and ordered the following items:
- Appetizers:
- Breaking Bread
- Tomato Fattoush Salad
- Arayes Kebab
- Drinks:
- 3 x Dry Apple Cider
- Wild Pistachio Coffee
- Mains
- 12-hour Lamb Shoulder Tandoor
- Kayseri Manti
- Dessert
- Chocolate Torte
I really enjoyed the Breaking Bread and the Arayes Kebab. The Wild Pistachio Coffee was delicious, but a tad sweeter than I'd prefer.
The main highlight was the 12-hour Lamb Shoulder Tandoor, and it was excellent!
