Wing Foiling at Coyote Point

On Monday, June 19th, the iWindsurf forecast called for strong NW winds from 20-25 knots at Coyote and Crissy Field.

Eager for more wing foiling, I loaded up my 2008 Toyota Sienna minivan with all of my gear:

When I arrived around 13:05, the wind was strong, and a few sailors were already out.

I rigged the  2021 Duotone Slick 4.0m and the Armstrong 1850cm foil kit on the Naish Wing Foil LE Carbon Ultra 95.

I had also taken my GoPro Hero11 Black Mini and recorded the following video:

It was highly gusty at times (the wind was hitting 30 knots) with a heavy, rolling chop, making it difficult to get up.

At the very end of my session, my Duotone Slick 4.0m wing somehow detached from me and ended up on the rocks with multiple cuts.

I took the Duotone Slick 4.0m wing and my Ezzy Elite 5.0m sail to Peter Jones for repair (on the way to Sherman Island).

Peter repaired my Ezzy Elite sail for $30 and also found a buyer for it! I sold the Ezzy Elite 5.0m for $200.

The 2021 Duotone Slick 4.0 wing repair was too complex for Peter, so he dropped it off at Bruce Sparadley at Sherman Island. Bruce repaired it for $160.
