With the coronavirus raging in San Jose (and across the United States), I resumed exercise. I thought that Almaden Quicksilver County Park would be closed, but I learned it was still open on closer inspection.
On April 17th, I rode my Specialized FSR S-Works mountain bike on my standard 10.5-mile trail. According to Strava, my ride took me 87 minutes. With a 1640-foot elevation gain, this is my favorite workout ride near my house.
During the next week, I rode my Specialized mountain bike on multiple occasions, with some improvement in overall time.

On Saturday, April 25th, 2020, I managed to ride the Almaden Quicksilver Park with the fastest time (this year) at 81 minutes.
