Positives

• Better suction than my previous Dyson V7
• Much longer run time (60 minutes vs 15 minutes on V7
• Nice small display, showing power modes and charging status
• An easier method of clearing the dust bin

Negatives

• Slightly heavier than my Dyson V7
• More expensive ($399 on Black Friday, normally $629)
