GE Profile Refrigerator

Inna selected the GE Profile PGE29BYTFS, 28.7 cu ft. 4-door French door refrigerator to replace our failing 2013 LG LFX31945ST (the freezer stopped working). I thought about repairing the LG, but ChatGPT said that the lifetime of a refrigerator was between 10 and 13 years (and our being 13 years old was at the end of its useful life). Repairing the LG might cost $1200 - $1300; almost 50% as much as a new refrigerator.

We had the GE Profile refrigerator delivered on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 am. We needed to first unload our existing LG into coolers. The installers had to remove my front door to get the old fridge out and the new fridge in.

When we removed the old fridge, we found a huge amount of grime underneath it and had to spend some time cleaning up.
