Enjoying Hall in Tirol, Oetz, and Aqua Dome

We had our last delicious breakfast in the morning at Tobhartbauer's residence. I ate the delicious rolls, a little cold cereal with nuts, and a delightful tea.

After packing and paying our bill, we headed for Aqua Dome. On the way there, we decided to stop for lunch at Hall in Tirol (near Innsbruck).

We parked our car and walked around the old town. As most shops were closed, we quickly sat down at Rathauscafe nearby.

I selected a delicious salad and shared a pizza with Inna while Alex picked an entire pizza for himself. A bumblebee started chasing Alex around for a while, and he decided to relocate indoors to eat his pizza.

Both the pizza and the salad were delicious!

After finishing the entrees, we decided to try a cake at another shop. Wandering around, we found that the nearby bakeshop – Konditorie Weiler - had the best cakes.

Inna chose the two cakes, and they were exquisite. We talked to the proprietor and found that 12 fresh cakes are baked daily, and we could immediately tell that these were superb.

After finishing the cakes, we continued our journey to Aqua Dome.

On the way there, we stopped briefly at Oetz, which had a beautiful sheep statue in the center (and many sports shops renting bikes, etc.). We talked to the information center about various hikes in the area and decided to consider them – instead of Innsbruck.

We continued our journey to Aqua Dome, checked in, and headed for the spa. Aqua Dome rooms were fantastic, and the many levels of pools and different kinds of water (salty and sulfur) were impressive. While Alex rested below, we also went to the spa, where we enjoyed all the various saunas.

At around 7:30pm, we decided to get our dinner, so we picked up Alex, returned to our room, and changed for dinner.

The dinner turned out to be fantastic – a combination of both buffet and waiter service.

We chose our main entrees and could get the rest from the buffet.

The entrees were exceptional – Michelin's 1-star quality for sure. Alex really enjoyed the all-you-can-eat ice cream with unlimited toppings!

After dinner, I was tired and went to bed while Inna wanted to try other saunas.
