I contemplated upgrading my GoPro Hero 10 Black to Hero 11, primarily because of the improved Hypersmooth and Horizon leveling features in the new model.
I didn't use the screen very much and thought the smaller, compact size of the Hero 11 Black Mini would be perfect for me. I was concerned about the non-removable battery.
When the GoPro Hero Black 11 mini went on sale, dropping the price from $399 to $199, I decided to try it.
Highlights
- The same video features as the GoPro Hero 11 Black
- Compact size
-
Low price ($199)
Lowlight
- Non-removable battery (good for 50 minutes of video)
- All control is done through the GoPro App, making it difficult to make quick changes
-
Battery discharges quickly (even when turned off)
