Today, Inna and I decided to hike the
John Nicholas
trail in
Sanborn County Park. Although I usually mountain bike ride there, it might also be a great place
to walk on a hot summer day since the numerous redwoods and other trees
provide a lot of shade.
My Strava information recorded the 10-mile hike below. The hike took us 3.5 hours and was very pleasant. Surprisingly, there were few mountain bikers and other hikers on the trail.
My Relieve app created an excellent video recording of the hike.
The tall trees provided plenty of shade on this warm September afternoon. We enjoyed our hike and hope to return again. I want to mountain bike here, as the 3-mile ascent provides plenty of cardiovascular exercise.
